Things have been pretty inconsistent to be honest. Some months I've got steady work and clients lined up then other times it goes quiet and I'm worried about finding the next gig. I've been working on improving my portfolio with stronger examples and collecting testimonials from happy clients which definitely makes a difference when I'm trying to land new projects...
After working on various websites and a lot of clients, these days I am focusing on my own projects. I started running my websites in 2015 but my websites were always on back seat as I was too busy working for others. I have now started revamping my website. I am currently working on my portfolio website, a travel blog, a food blog, online literary magazine, and two forums.
Things have been inconsistent lately. It wasn't like this last year. I got enough job last year, I even put my car in good condition. Now, it's so difficult. I just hope that business improves again. Currently I’m concentrating on making videos
Sometimes it's slow, sometimes faster than I expected. I have come to realise it's the way freelance works . I’ve had weeks where work is overwhelming, then another week my table was empty, no single job at all. But I’m grateful that there are platforms that still let me take something home even if it’s very small.
